Suzanne Doogan

Suzanne Doogan writes and performs poetry, monologues, songs, and other stuff in Baltimore and occasionally other towns. She is interested in playing with subjectivity and in toying with what a song can be. Suzanne's work as an educator with children helps her build stamina for rigorous play with language, ideas, and objects. Her engagement with rotating Baltimore collective Mems is an outlet for improvisation that bleeds into her personal work, and her project with friend Michelle Luong is a celebration of intimacy and communication.
