Idiot's Smile was created in fall 2013. In my third floor one bedroom apartment on Howard and 29th, on the blue shag carpet, sitting next to the Ikea table, with a view of the frat house out the window. Sometimes I watch the frat brothers lineup for ceremonies, sometimes I watch them puke in the street, one time I watched them kick a child off of a tire swing in their front yard. Before moving to Baltimore in 2013 I lived in Tempe, Arizona on 14th and College and out my window there I had a view of a frat house as well. Sometimes I would see them play beer pong, one time I saw two men in togas help a little person do a keg stand. I do a lot of looking, and can't help but feel like these synchronicities helped influence Idiot's Smile.
