The Insane Root is comprised of incidental music composed for the Baltimore Annex Theatre's spring 2013 production of William Shakespeare's Macbeth. The material used in the play was rearranged and superimposed on itself to create an entirely new piece of music. This new piece retains some of the tone of the play but stands on its own as a recorded document.
