Other Rhythms is Ehse debut of Baltimore-based artist and musician Katie Addada Shlon. Katie performs on traditional instruments and those of her own making, improvising in response to the landscape. Other Rhythms is improvised cello for a collage of field recordings collected in cities and countrysides. It is one part meditation tape, one part endless dérive, one part site-responsive performance, and one part environmental reflection.
