Andrew Barranca (aka Gaybomb) makes collages with magnetic tape cards played through machines intended for something else. With them he makes a quilt of abrasive electronic recordings, tape hiss, and distorted samplings. On "Weather Man" he uses a collection of audio recordings prepared over the last five years, recycled and reorganized into two improvisations.
